Memphis Orion

Co-founder & CEO

Memphis Orion is an entrepreneur, engineer, and operator with 25 years of leadership experience in heavy technology and mechanical environments. As Co-founder & CEO of Coba Bathhouse, he leads the development of Denver’s landmark bathhouse—a geothermal-powered wellness destination designed as a true third space for the city. Before Coba, Memphis founded an industrial process automation firm 18 years ago and later founded an ERP platform, building companies that provide operational excellence in dynamic, complex industries.

Through his career, Memphis has spent more than two decades leading cross-functional teams and shaping organizations whose businesses depend on reliability under load. His consulting work has focused on organizational efficiency, systems integration, and cost accounting—helping clients understand how work and money actually move through their organizations, then refining processes to improve efficiency and margins. As founder of Primal Processor, he has translated that same discipline into a platform that gives protein fabricators clear production data, traceability, and cost visibility without overhead or additional admin burden.

Alongside his technology and mechanical work, Memphis has 15 years of experience managing real estate development projects, coordinating mechanical systems, overseeing construction trades, budgets, and schedules from early design through completion. That combination of technical depth and on-the-ground project management shapes his approach to Coba’s campus: a bathhouse that feels effortless for guests because the systems behind it are carefully engineered.

Memphis’ expertise spans multiple disciplines:

  • Systems & Infrastructure: Designing and integrating mechanical and technology systems that must perform consistently in demanding environments, from industrial facilities to hospitality spaces.
  • Technology & User Experience: Translating operational needs into practical, intuitive tools and platforms.
  • Operational Strategy & Cost Accounting: Polished insights from decades of working with leadership teams in diverse sectors to clarify roles, map costs, and implement changes that improve performance, reduce waste, and preserve the bottom line.
  • Real Estate & Development: Leading complex development projects, with a focus on risk mitigation, value engineering, and guest experience in the finished space.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, business services and finance, with a calm, direct style and a focus on matching people to the work where they do their best.

With Coba, Memphis brings these threads together to create a modern bathhouse that is as thoughtfully engineered as it is restorative—a place where curated mechanical, careful design, and community-centered hospitality support a more grounded way of living in the city.
